Maureen (mo) Stern is a freelance copywriter and creative director based in Montreal. She loves words, great design and telling cool stories. A journalism graduate from Concordia University, she’s been writing engaging copy and developing creative concepts that connect people with brands—big and small—for most of her communications career.

Detail-driven and versatile, she’s written on just about everything from planes and trains to automobiles. She’s experienced the best of both worlds: one half of her career has been on the agency side, the other half as a freelancer. She now works with ad agencies and client direct on a variety of copywritng and creative mandates. She’s won quite a few pitches, many accolades and a few awards.
